Love of my Life
It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you the love of my life Mark :). Believing God has called us together, we are anxiously anticipating a September wedding. I want to praise God for his direction in bringing us together. Mark is a wonderful godly man. I could type pages on all the things that make him amazing but I wouldn't want to embarass him.

Congratulations on your engagement!
My analysis: You definately know a good first name when you see one. Though I don't know Mark at all...His name is spelled "Mark" instead of "Marc", that is a really really good sign--he must be wonderful guy. No offense to any Marc's (French name?) out there, but 'Mark' is so much better. OK, enough name-based narcissim for now :)
Seriously, though, God bless you two as you take this new direction in life.

Hey Laura - just had to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hope your trip is going great, and also that your summer goes really fast!
Hopefully you remember who I am. If not I'll survive somehow. I just wanted to know what exactly it is that you do for work. I remembered you were like an English something major at Purdue and I was curious what kind of job you actually have. Anyway I'm super happy for you and Mark. Where are you guys going to live?
It often makes me marvel at how the choices we make in life affect (or is it effect... i could never get that right...) other people and our relationships with them.
Besides our decision to give our life to Christ, having Christ guide us in finding the right person to unite with is the second most important choice in our life.
In a world that looks at the outside and finacial position that one may gain in marriage, it is nice to know that there is still two people who follow God's directing in their life.
Just remember your marriage is a three fold cord, and don't forget your first love.
I have heard marriage compared to a triangle. At the top is God, to two bottom points are husband and wife. The distance in between each is how close you are to each other. Now look at it closely. The only way for you two to be close to one another is to be close to God...
